Beautilicious // DIY Beach Hair Spray

Welcome to my first Beautilicious Feature post.
(I know, I know... the name is a little lame.... maybe I should think about it some more?)

Today I am going to share how to make your own texturing Beach Hair Spray .
It is super easy and you can make it with just 4 simple ingredients that you most likely already have.

DIY Sea spray

And ingredient No. 4 -  Water

When I made my batch, I didn't measure.... Oops!
I pretty much sprinkled a nice pile of salt, added a small dollop of gel and a squeeze of conditioner, then watered it down to a spray consistency! Totally accurate measurements there! You can then put it in a spray bottle and use like any normal spray.

I guess you just have to experiment? If you aren't getting enough bounce/texture, add more salt and gel. If you are getting greasy hair, wayyy too much conditioner..
I think I probably used a bit much salt because I could taste salt at random times during the day (hehe) Reminded me of being at the beach (I guess that's perfect?!)

I was thinking it would be nice if it smelt like coconut - maybe some coconut oil instead of the conditioner?

I also added a little column over there --->

In response to the popular 'Things I am Afraid to Tell You' posts going around at the moment.
I am not really the kind of person that is afraid to say things about myself. If I'm feeling discouraged, embarrassed, happy or excited, you will hear about it! So, I am starting my own trend... things I'm not afraid to tell you... Just some silly little facts about myself that might surprise, interest, or annoy you...

  2. Hi, sorry for being a bit slow, but is it really sprayable? Are you supposed to fill it into a little spraybottle or use it like a gel?
Thanks for sharing your great ideas :)
